AS6402 FORAGE SORGHUM SEED

Hybrid Overview

LATE MATURITY SORGHUM-SUDANGRASS SEED

AS6402 brought the brachytic dwarf characteristic to prominence in the market. This sorghum-sudangrass seed has reduced internode length, which creates a very compact, leafy and prolific plant. However, it yields with taller sorghum-sudangrass hybrids due to the standability and tillering attributes of the brachytic dwarf trait. Producers will have the best of both worlds with this forage sorghum hybrid: excellent forage qualities from BMR-6 and a dependable high-yielding feedstock.

  • Brachytic dwarf characteristic provides high leaf-to-stem ratio
  • Superior standability and excellent regrowth
  • Superb tonnage under multiple harvest systems
  • BMR-6 provides high-quality nutrition
